Cover the full corporate paralegal role — from entity documents and records to due diligence and IP. A broad foundation for corporate paralegals. You'll begin with ethics — fiduciary relationships, client confidentiality, and unauthorized practice of law — then move into drafting organizational documents and maintaining corporate records. The course covers due diligence in corporate transactions, including confidentiality, cybersecurity, and data privacy, and closes with a trademark and patent refresher, the trademarking process, licensing, patent searching, and IP assignments.

  • Module 1 - The Corporate Paralegal From A to Z
    • This module connects the lesson topics to practical professional scenarios. By the end of the module, learners will be prepared to: Apply the principles of ethics: fiduciary relationships, client confidentiality, and unauthorized practice of law in professional practice; Apply the principles of drafting organizational documents in professional practice; Evaluate scenarios involving the topics in Module 1.

    • This module connects the lesson topics to practical professional scenarios. By the end of the module, learners will be prepared to: Apply the principles of maintaining corporate records in professional practice; Apply the principles of due diligence in corporate transactions in professional practice; Evaluate scenarios involving the topics in Module 2.
  • Module 3 - The Corporate Paralegal From A to Z
    • This module connects the lesson topics to practical professional scenarios. By the end of the module, learners will be prepared to: Apply the principles of due diligence in corporate transactions: confidentiality, cybersecurity, and data privacy in professional practice; Apply the principles of trademarks and patent refresher in professional practice; Evaluate scenarios involving the topics in Module 3.
  • Module 4 - The Corporate Paralegal From A to Z
    • This module connects the lesson topics to practical professional scenarios. By the end of the module, learners will be prepared to: Apply the principles of trademarking process overview, licensing, patent searching, and ip assignments in professional practice; Evaluate scenarios involving the topics in Module 4.
