    • In this course, you’ll learn about the changes and challenges people face as they move through the second half of life. First, we’ll look at middle adulthood, which usually covers the ages from about 40 to 65. You’ll explore the physical changes that happen during these years and how they can affect both body and mind. We’ll talk about common health issues, changes in thinking and memory, and how people handle emotions and relationships as they get older. You’ll also learn about career transitions and the different paths people take in their work and personal lives during this stage. Next, we’ll focus on late adulthood, which includes the senior years. You’ll learn about the physical and cognitive changes that come with aging, as well as how people continue to grow socially and emotionally. We’ll discuss the challenges and opportunities that come with retirement, changes in relationships, and how people find meaning and purpose later in life. By the end of this course, you’ll have a better understanding of what it’s like to experience middle and late adulthood, and what helps people stay healthy, happy, and connected as they age.
