  • Building a coalition
    • In this module, you will explore the fundamental principles of building effective coalitions within the workplace. You will learn how to identify common causes and leverage resources to foster strong alliances with your coworkers. This module will equip you with practical strategies to amplify feedback to supervisors and create a more supportive and collaborative work environment.
  • Building bonds rooted in growth
    • This module focuses on cultivating a growth mindset within your professional relationships. You will discover how to spread a growth mindset among your colleagues and practice giving feedback in a way that encourages development. By the end of this module, you will understand the importance of receptiveness to feedback for personal and professional growth, and be able to apply these principles to foster stronger, more growth-oriented bonds.
  • Cultivating liking
    • In this module, you will learn the art of cultivating genuine liking in the workplace to strengthen your professional bonds. You will explore the factors that contribute to liking and discover how to reinforce these connections authentically. This module will provide you with practical exercises to cultivate liking and understand its role in encouraging effective 'managing up.' You will also reflect on the importance of authenticity in building these relationships.
  • Course conclusion
    • This module marks the culmination of your learning journey in 'Managing Up: Building Coalitions, Growth Mindsets, and Liking.' You can also complete a course survey and acknowledge your successful completion of the program.
