Syllabus

  • Foundations of Six Sigma and Lean Concepts
    • This module introduces learners to the fundamentals of Six Sigma, Lean thinking, and waste reduction. Participants will explore the Define phase, Voice of the Customer (VOC), project charters, and Lean tools such as 5S, Poka Yoke, SMED, and Kanban. By the end of this module, learners will understand how to identify customer needs, outline project scope, and apply Lean methods for improving efficiency.
  • Measure Phase – Building the Analytical Foundation
    • This module emphasizes the Measure phase of Six Sigma, where data accuracy and statistical foundations are established. Learners will explore Measurement System Analysis (MSA), descriptive statistics, control charts, process capability indices, and hypothesis testing. By mastering these tools, learners will be equipped to collect valid data and evaluate process performance with confidence.
  • Analyze, Improve & Control – Advanced Problem Solving
    • This module guides learners through the Analyze, Improve, and Control phases of DMAIC. It covers tools for root cause identification, regression, correlation, ANOVA, DOE, Multi-Vari, FMEA, risk analysis, and process optimization. Learners will also explore solution implementation, pilot testing, and sustaining improvements to achieve long-term process excellence.
