  • Mastering the Houdini Interface
    • This module introduces learners to the foundations of Houdini’s interface, Boolean operations, and camera settings. Students will gain proficiency in controlling pivots, working with channels, customizing color settings, and setting up construction planes for modeling precision. By mastering these essentials, they establish a strong base for efficient procedural workflows.
  • Modeling and Transformation Tools
    • This module explores Houdini’s advanced modeling features, curve-based deformation, parenting controls, and path-driven animation. Learners will understand how to fuse points, manage grids, and leverage snapping tools for precision modeling. By the end, they will be able to apply procedural techniques for dynamic modeling and animation.
  • Workflow Optimization & Object Controls
    • This module focuses on optimizing workflows with hotkeys, locking systems, and organizational strategies. Learners will gain hands-on experience with Modify tab tools, naming conventions, and node editor organization. Additionally, they will explore NURBS geometry and orthographic views for accurate modeling.
  • Geometry, Surfaces & Precision Tools
    • This module delves into Platonic solids, polygon meshes, and preference management to support precise modeling. Learners will work with primitive options, rail curves, and the Ray SOP for geometry alignment. They will also refine skills in revolve, rotation, and scaling to construct high-quality surfaces.
  • Animation, Shading & Final Touches
    • This final module covers animation scripting, selection groups, shading techniques, and workspace customization. Learners will master smooth shading, frequency controls, uniform sampling, and scaling to finalize assets for production. By completing this module, they will have the skills to optimize both animation and rendering pipelines.
