In this course, you practice English through topics about people, behavior, and society. You begin with psychology and explore ideas such as pet peeves, emotions, and behavior. You study related vocabulary and practice language for talking about past actions and activities, helping you describe what happened and how people responded. You then move to sociology and social media, where you learn vocabulary for discussing online communication and social topics. You also practice using countable and uncountable nouns, which can help you talk more clearly about things, ideas, and information. Throughout the course, you learn through readings, conversations, reading comprehension checks, Language Bite lessons, practice activities, graded quizzes, and Conversation Café discussions. These activities help you build vocabulary, strengthen grammar, and communicate with other learners.
