In this course, you'll continue developing your data-reporting skills in Crystal Reports by using creating, editing, and filtering data in reports. You'll also build parameterized reports and group report data to make the process of interpreting data easier. This is the second course in a multi-course Specialization. All of the courses in this Specialization require that you have SAP Crystal Reports 2020 installed. You also need to have an installation of Office 2019 apps or later, particularly Access. The course setup instructions provided in the first course go into more detail about the hardware and software requirements.

Syllabus

  • Using Formulas in Reports
    • You created reports that contain data from a database. Sometimes, you may want to create calculated fields in a report.
  • Building Parameterized Reports
    • You used advanced formulas and functions in your reports. These reports return the same data every time you run them. With SAP® Crystal Reports® 2020, you can add parameters and prompts to make your reports accept values from the user and display data based on user input.
  • Grouping Report Data
    • You added specific information from a database to your report. To ease the data-interpretation process, you have to organize the report data into meaningful groups and, if desired, summarize each group.
  • Completing the Course
    • You'll wrap things up and then validate what you've learned in this course by taking an assessment.
