To round out your data-reporting skills in Crystal Reports, you'll enhance reports by formatting them, inserting objects into them, and using templates. You'll also create and modify reports based on Excel data. Finally, you'll export and creating mailing labels as methods for distributing reports to the people who need them. This is the third and final course in a multi-course Specialization. All of the courses in this Specialization require that you have SAP Crystal Reports 2020 installed. You also need to have an installation of Office 2019 apps or later, particularly Access. The course setup instructions provided in the first course go into more detail about the hardware and software requirements.

Syllabus

  • Enhancing a Report
    • After creating a report and organizing the data, you want to format and present the data in a manner that's visually appealing to your audience.
  • Creating a Report from Excel Data
    • You formatted, embedded, and linked data to enhance a report. You can also present information in a Microsoft® Excel® spreadsheet as a report to facilitate user comprehension. Instead of manually entering the data, you can use SAP® Crystal Reports® 2020 to extract data from an Excel spreadsheet for use in a report to avoid spending time and effort on manually creating a report.
  • Distributing Data
    • You created a report from Microsoft® Excel® data. The report is ready for distribution after completion.
  • Completing the Course
    • You'll wrap things up and then validate what you've learned in this course by taking an assessment.
