Culture doesn't build itself — and hoping it will is how organizations end up with two cultures: the one they talk about and the one that actually runs the place. This course gives you a practical, step-by-step framework for building the kind of culture where people show up with purpose, trust each other, and do their best work together. You'll move through five essential pillars: getting your team on mission together, leading with clarity from the top, building real trust, establishing systems that support great work, and feeding your culture over time. Along the way, you'll apply proven tools for translating values into behaviors, closing the gap between stated and hidden culture, managing change with empathy, and creating the feedback loops that keep culture healthy as your organization grows. Whether you're building culture from scratch or course-correcting an existing one, this course gives you the strategies, frameworks, and confidence to lead the culture your organization deserves.

Syllabus

  • Get On Mission Together
    • When your team knows the "why" behind their work, they show up with more purpose, commitment, and loyalty. In this module, you'll connect your organization's history to its present mission and translate abstract values into the everyday habits that unite your team around a shared purpose.
  • Be Clear From The Top
    • Every organization runs two cultures at once: the official story and the unwritten rules of how work actually gets done. In this module, you'll identify the hidden dynamics creating friction in your organization and build feedback loops that close the gap between leadership expectations and frontline reality.
  • Build Trust
    • Trust isn't built through team-building exercises — it's forged through the quality of everyday interactions and the safety people feel to be honest. In this module, you'll apply behavioral strategies around vulnerability, encouragement, and difficult conversations to expand your team's social capital and collective resilience.
  • Build Support Systems
    • Even high-performing teams will struggle when the systems around them are fragile. In this module, you'll design clear rules of engagement and blameless accountability structures so your team can innovate, collaborate, and recover from failure without fear.
  • Feed The Culture
    • Culture isn't something you build once — it requires ongoing, intentional effort to stay healthy and strong. In this module, you'll create rituals and practices across the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to recognition, so your culture continues to thrive long after the initial work is done.
