For the material and overall presentation of concepts, I would rate this a 5. The course content was engaging, well-structured, and did an excellent job explaining the various tools and frameworks of Scrum used today. I especially appreciated the in…

I can't complete the course and there is NO response from support. The final question asks what is the first word of the second sentence in the overview and lists Framework, Agile, Scrum, Sprint, and Portfolio. But this is the overview paragraph: "…

The quizzes were really confusing. The Final had multiple questions that weren't very clearly covered in the source material. At least one of the questions had an answer that conflicted with the source material. Furthermore, the AI-bot that's supposed to help coach you on the content provided information that directly conflicted with the source material.
It was extremely frustrating, and I don't recommend it. -
I found the course content to be educational and it was appreciated. The annunciation in the spoken videos could have been more clear. The text in the transcript and summaries contained disappointingly many errors, some of which I submitted for content correction, and should not have been so abundant in a 'university' level course. While I will continue with the courses in this program, I do hope the following courses have been updated with feedback from prior users. Especially in a course that puts emphasis on 'Continuous Improvement', the course contents should be eager to follow the principles for which it supports.

The feedback button should not be disabled in the quizzes. That is unfair to the student. It is disgusting that this seems to be a standard practice for the University of Maryland. I have not seen any other organization on the Coursera platform do this. Truly a sickening and despicable practice.

The Applied Scrum for Agile Project Management course provided a solid introduction to Scrum and Agile practices. The structure was well organized, and the explanations of Scrum roles, ceremonies, and artifacts were easy to follow. I especially liked how the course focused on practical application rather than just theory. Overall, it’s a great course for beginners and students who want to understand how Scrum works in real projects.

Thorough information, and flexible course timeframe. Also, I appreciated the video content, but even more, the text that immediately followed, reiterating the video content. It satisfied both my visual learning style reinforced with text. I'm looking forward to the corresponding courses for Scrum!

The course is well-structured and comprehensively covers all the basics, starting with the evolution of Agile and why organizations are increasingly adopting it. I found the third module on How to Scrum particularly useful — it provides a solid foundation for understanding Scrum within Agile project management.
This course is an excellent starting point for anyone looking to grasp the fundamentals of Agile and Scrum, and it also serves as a great refresher for experienced professionals. -
I recently completed the Applied Scrum for Agile Project Management course from the University of Maryland, and I found it very practical and accessible. The course breaks down Scrum roles, ceremonies, and artifacts in a way that’s easy to understand, even for beginners. I especially appreciated the real-world examples and exercises—they helped me see how to apply Scrum principles in actual projects. The instructor explains concepts clearly, and the pace is manageable. My only minor issue was that the course could include more interactive elements, but overall, it gave me a solid foundation in Agile project management that I can use immediately.

Excellent course on Agile - applied scrum. It gave me a very good understanding of Applied Scrum.
I highly recommend this course. -
The content is quite good but the way of explaining, of talking, of pronouncing is very vague, unclear and confusing. Had to rewind and even put it slower so many times. The final exam is so difficult and the correct answers many times do not correspond to the content that has been explained in the course. I don't recommend it at all.
-
pretty good course, and good pace with checkpoints along the way, some content and slides in my opinion not relevant

I recently completed this course and I found it very useful for my academic and professional development. The theoretical aspects were presented in a clear and structured way, covering all of the key concepts in detail. The content was comprehensive and gave me a strong foundation for understanding the subject as a whole. What I appreciated most was that the course focused on essential theories without leaving important gaps, which made the learning experience very complete and reliable. Overall, I consider this course to be a valuable source of knowledge and I am very satisfied with what I learned from it
-
Great course to discover. Highly recommend training! Clear concepts, real-world examples, and excellent delivery.
Great Learning experience. -
Good course, well explained, easy to attend. The final assignment assesses that concepts are truly understood
-
I liked it a lot to help me refresh all the concepts regarding Agile and learn new ones too! I'm a bit confused about the final test that redirects to this page. I can't get my certificate because the question doesn't make sense!
I hope I can get some help :'( -
The course was informative and excellent. Only drawback: too many quizzes, which becomes tiring and disrupts the whole focus
-
The course content was excellent. However, the inability to understand what you have right and wrong on the exams is frustrating. I have given up on the final as repeating 20 questions over and over again without knowing what I have wrong works is opposite to the way teaching should be. The bot is of no use.
