This session explores the wine denominations of Valle d'Aosta and Liguria, two regions surrounding Piemonte that could hardly be more different in terrain, climate, and character. You will trace the route from Italy's highest vineyards in the north to the steep, terraced plots above the Ligurian Sea, learning about the local grape varieties, wine styles, and food traditions that have evolved in each environment.
