Explore the contrasting wine worlds of Northern Italy's Lombardia and Emilia-Romagna, home to sparkling Franciacorta, mountain-grown Valtellina, and the beloved Lambrusco family, all anchored in some of Italy's most celebrated culinary traditions.
This session examines the major wine denominations of Lombardia and Emilia-Romagna, covering the appellations of Franciacorta, Valtellina, and the various Lambrusco PDOs, among others. You will explore where these wines are made, which grapes define them, what makes their styles distinctive, and how they connect to the food culture of the regions.
