If you're cooking for a family member or guest with dietary restrictions, you can still enjoy delightful treats. In this class, you will expand your collection of gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan dessert options. Gluten-Free & Vegan Desserts are also great for passover: no flour + no eggs = no leavening.

We will introduce you to recipe formulas for classic gluten-free and vegan desserts that can be adapted to many seasonal fruits and flavor profiles. You will learn techniques and substitutions for replacing gluten, eggs, and dairy with delicious, plant-based alternatives.

Menu:

  • Passion Fruit (or Mango) Coconut Panna Cotta Tart
  • Apple Cider Poached Pears (or Figs) with Whipped Maple Cashew Cream
  • Seasonal Fruit Crisp
  • Dairy Free 2-Step Fruit Sorbet

All menu items above are dairy free and 100% plant based.

Ideal for beginners. No prior knowledge or skills are required!

What to bring

This is a virtual, hands-on class with some preparation required.

Your teacher will provide a detailed list of ingredients, materials, and prep instructions one week before the class.

Special equipment: a food processor and/or blender is highly recommended for this class.
