Spanish 6 advances your proficiency with past tense structures by covering the irregular conjugations of the preterite tense and the irregular conjugations of both formal and informal commands in affirmative and negative forms. You will also learn how to express specific time periods using verbs such as "hacer" and "llevar" (hace 1 hora que...; desde hace 1 mes...; llevo 2 semanas sin..., etc.) and master demonstrative pronouns (this one, that one) for clear reference and communication.
Upon completing Spanish 6, you will be able to communicate your thoughts and ideas effectively using present, past, and future tenses in a variety of contexts and situations.
Important Course Information:
- Please select either a printed book with an audio file (in-person pickup required before class) or a PDF with an audio file for your course materials if you did not previously take Spanish 5.
- If you select the PDF option, having the ability to print your own copy or accessing a second device to view course materials during class sessions will be beneficial.
- The day prior to your first class session, you will receive your electronic copy of all materials, and the instructor will send you the Zoom link for attending class.
- Be ready to log on and join the meeting 5 to 10 minutes before the official class start time so you are fully prepared when instruction begins.
