Learning a new language is a process that requires frequent practice. This class sets you up for greater success by leveraging your knowledge of English while making connections to Spanish. In this continuation to the first course, you will listen, read, write, and speak to further your learning of the most basic concepts. Continue to practice correctly pronouncing and hearing all Spanish words. Use the most frequent Spanish vocabulary for sustaining basic conversations about a variety of topics. The key to learning a language is to practice it often!
In this class, you will learn strategies for practicing conversational Spanish. Take this class to build a foundation so that you'll be more comfortable and ready to benefit from CFU's regular Spanish curriculum.
Tuition includes a workbook with activities and vocabulary.
Pre-requisite: Ready, Set, Spanish: Spanish Basics or equivalent knowledge
Notes:
- Please select either printed book (pickup is required in advance of class) OR PDF materials.
- If you select PDF, being able to print a copy on your own or use a 2nd device to view book during class will be helpful.
- Class time is in MT.
- Good internet connection and a laptop or device with camera and mic is needed.
- The day before class, you will receive your electronic copy of the materials and the instructor will send you the link to attend.
- Be ready to log on and join the meeting 5-10 minutes prior to the class start time so you will be ready when class begins.
