Master Sommelier David Glancy instructs students in navigating the most complex tastings of sparkling wines, fortified wines, and non-fortified dessert classifications. Develop the ability to recognize shared characteristics and variations among wines while studying major production regions and approaches worldwide. Analyze how differences in flavor profiles result from grape selection, soil composition, farming approaches, processing methods, and storage duration.
Class Level: This advanced blind tasting class assumes previous completion of both Intro to Blind Tasting and Intermediate Blind Tasting courses prior to enrollment.
