In this course, you will develop and practice compelling and genuinely complex strumming patterns, mixing bass notes, palm mutes, percussive scratches, and syncopated 16th note rhythms. By completion, you will be a confident and highly expressive rhythm guitar player capable of playing with others.
To feel confident about what class level is right for your skill level, try playing along with the class graduation videos provided. If you can play along successfully with the previous graduation video but not yet with the graduation video for this course, then you have found your perfect level!
Before your first class, try playing along with the warm-up video which you will do during every class session. There are nine warm-ups in total, so make sure to pick the correct level for you. Don't worry about understanding or mastering everything perfectly; just get familiar with the material. (Also, to truly maximize your progress, use this video as a warm-up every time you practice at home!) If you pass the graduation video, then check out our next course in the series!
