Avid Media Composer New Features & Tools (2020 Revision)
This one-day class explores all the new features and tools for Avid Media Composer 2020, dating back to Media Composer 8.0. This includes version 8.0 to 8.10, version 2018.6 to 2018.12, and version 2019.7 to 2020. A comprehensive look at over 500 features from the last five years.
Two of the most drastic changes to Avid’s Media Composer are the new interface and the new Avid Titler +. Students will learn new tips and techniques for the interface as well as an overview of the new Titler +, comparing these new features to their previous versions. We’ll also look at all the new technical capabilities Avid has built into the system. This includes the 16-bit engine with 32-bit floating point processing, MXF export, and much more.
