Join us for an exciting opportunity to learn animation in this 2-week intensive voice-over program, led by Netflix Animation Casting Director Laura Lopez. This class welcomes actors of all ages, and sessions are conducted online via Zoom for maximum accessibility and flexibility.
You will immerse yourself in live, interactive sessions featuring Q and A opportunities and the chance to showcase your skills for personalized feedback from Laura. As a bonus, participants receive access to download recordings of their performances for educational purposes, allowing them to review and refine their craft long after the class concludes.
Laura brings over 20 years of experience in the voiceover industry, having worked extensively with Netflix and Sony Animation. She was instrumental in the startup and operation of Studiopolis, the busiest audio and post-production full-service studio in Los Angeles, which she helped run for two decades. During her career, she has cast and produced some of the greatest animated shows, features, anime, and games, including mega-hit pop culture titles like "NARUTO" and many celebrity-filled feature films.
Today, Laura works independently, providing casting services to a wide variety of domestic and international projects and clients, maintaining deep expertise in celebrity casting, contracting, and project management. She collaborates with some of the best directors in the industry and top talent across multiple formats. Her extensive experience includes localization work and the intricate process of dubbing, having worked with talent on anime, animated productions, interactive media, and live-action dubbing projects. Recently, she completed 7 projects for Disney+ and is currently working on an untitled secret show with Adam Carolla and his production company.
In addition to her vast knowledge of setting up and running productions as a union signatory, Laura maintains strong relationships with many top voiceover talent, agents, managers, union representatives, directors, writers, and creators. This network is invaluable to the industry. Laura is passionate about the voiceover field and has participated in workshops while actively seeking opportunities to help emerging talent interested in joining this exciting industry.
