In this course, learners will understand how to configure IAM authentication with OAuth 2.0 for Amazon MQ for RabbitMQ -- eliminating the need to manage static credentials like usernames and passwords across services. They will learn how IAM serves as an OAuth 2.0 identity provider, enabling centralized access control with automatically expiring tokens. The course also covers multi-tenant use cases with vhost-level isolation enforced through IAM roles and broker-level scope aliases, reducing operational overhead from password rotation, credential distribution, and secret management.
