In this course, learners will understand how to implement mutual TLS (mTLS) and SSL certificate authentication for Amazon MQ for RabbitMQ version 4 and later. They will learn the differences between SSL certificate authentication -- which enables passwordless login using X.509 client certificates -- and mTLS -- which adds certificate-based peer verification alongside username and password authentication. Learners will gain insight into how these features help meet compliance requirements for frameworks like SOX, HIPAA, and PCI DSS, along with guidance on key configuration options and choosing the right approach for their use case.
