In this module, you will learn comprehensive security for AI systems using AWS's defense-in-depth strategy across seven layers. You'll learn to establish secure AI environments by implementing network isolation with VPC endpoints, configuring fine-grained access controls through IAM policies and role-based access control, and setting up identity federation for enterprise environments. The module covers securing data access patterns using AWS Lake Formation's granular permissions and monitoring data access with CloudWatch. You'll also implement robust data protection mechanisms including Amazon Bedrock's native encryption capabilities, Amazon Comprehend for PII detection and redaction, Amazon Macie for automated sensitive data discovery, and content filtering through Amazon Bedrock Guardrails. By the end of this module, you'll be equipped to design and implement a multi-layered security architecture that protects AI systems, data, and applications.
