Overview
You've sent a document for review and gotten five different edited versions back. You've spent 20 minutes hunting for the right file only to realize it was the wrong version. You've chased a signature across three emails when one click should have done it.
These are not edge cases. Nearly half of all workers say their document processes are confusing and ineffective, and most of the friction comes down to one thing: not knowing what Adobe Acrobat can actually do.
This specialization fixes that. You'll build a complete, practical foundation in PDF editing, e-signature workflows, document automation, and AI-powered document analysis. From creating and organizing PDFs to building fillable forms, running collaborative reviews, protecting sensitive data, and delivering accessible documents, you'll learn to manage the full document lifecycle the way high-performing professionals actually do it.
Developed by Adobe, each course builds on the last so your skills compound as you go.

Your manager just sent you a 90-page report and needs a summary in 20 minutes. A contract going to a client still has internal salary figures buried on page 14. A document you spent hours on is inaccessible to half the people who need to read it. These are the moments where knowing Adobe Acrobat at a deeper level pays off immediately. In this course you will use Adobe Acrobat AI Assistant to analyze, summarize, and extract insights from complex documents so you can work through dense content in minutes rather than hours. You will apply professional redaction and security tools to permanently remove confidential information and control who can view, edit, or print your files. And you will learn foundational accessibility practices that ensure your documents work for every reader, on every device, in every context. These are the capabilities that matter most in regulated industries and high-stakes professional environments, and they are the skills that separate someone who uses Acrobat from someone who uses it well. By the end of this course you will know not just how to use these tools but when and why to reach for them, which is what professional-level judgment actually looks like.

A contract is sitting in someone's inbox waiting for a signature. A report has six versions floating across four email threads and nobody knows which one is final. A form was filled out by hand, scanned, and emailed back as an uneditable image. These are not rare edge cases. They are Tuesday. And every one of them is solvable with Adobe Acrobat. In this course you will learn to build and distribute fillable forms that collect structured responses digitally, send documents for legally binding e-signature without printing a single page, and run collaborative review cycles where comments, markups, and approvals all happen in one place. You will also learn to compare document versions side by side, manage approval routing, and deliver final documents in a way that leaves no ambiguity about what is current and complete. Built around real business scenarios, every skill in this course maps directly to work you already do or will do. By the end you will be able to move documents through their full lifecycle, from draft to final signed delivery, faster and with far less friction than before.

Most professionals use PDFs every day but hit a wall the moment they need to do anything beyond opening them. This course changes that. You will leave with a practical, confident command of Adobe Acrobat and the core PDF skills that make everyday work faster and more professional. You will learn to create PDFs from Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, and scanned images, and use OCR to turn those scans into searchable, editable files. From there you will edit text and images directly inside existing PDFs without breaking formatting, and organize complex multi-page documents by merging, splitting, rearranging, and extracting pages. By the end of the course you will know how to add page numbers, headers, footers, and watermarks so every document you send looks polished and intentional, not pieced together. Each skill builds on the last so you finish with a complete foundation you can use immediately, on any document, in any role.
