This 67-minute intermediate guitar course presents a comprehensive 5-step method for achieving fretboard mastery by connecting triad knowledge with the CAGED system. Progress through carefully structured exercises starting with individual triads (C# minor, A major, E major) in both horizontal and vertical patterns, then learn to play chord progressions across the fretboard using different triad inversions with proper voice leading. The course bridges theory and practice by combining triads with the CAGED system, teaching how to integrate pentatonic and diatonic scales for improvisation, and culminates with practical application exercises. Each step includes guided practice segments both with and without instructor accompaniment, making complex fretboard concepts accessible through methodical, hands-on learning. Includes references to downloadable PDF resources and supplementary materials for continued practice.
