In about an hour it walks you through everything that actually matters: how to set up that nerve-wracking first day, run meaningful weekly check-ins, give feedback that doesn’t crush a student’s soul, and handle the tricky conversations when things aren’t going well.
What hit me hardest was the shift from “I’m the clinician” to “I’m the educator.” The real-life examples and simple scripts made me feel way more confident about guiding students without abandoning my clients. It’s practical, kind, and zero fluff. If you supervise Level I or II students—even occasionally, this will be helpful. -
I felt like l was actually there at this course. All of the areas that you addressed l wish l had someone explain to me 25 yrs ago...lol. You are spot on and l feel that new OTs should watch this video as l watch these new OTs struggle with students and often come to me for advice. The truth is that the new graduate 's only reference is their FW supervisors and your video gives a holistic perspective that is very much needed. Thank you.
