    a well presented view into Frankish society in the post roman world in Gaul

    interesting to hear the influence of the church over all aspects of life and how the mechanism that held roman society together begins to disintegrate in the post roman world

    The the age was considered the dark ages it is not necessarily so as society yes changed but still held some roman institutions together via the church
