The course seeks to enhance students’ aesthetic appreciation, analytical judgment, and understanding of movement structures, while fostering their interest in sports and elevating their ability to appreciate athletic excellence. Emphasis is placed on the role of sports in moral education, upholding the principle of cultivating virtue through physical education, and promoting the harmonious and healthy development of students’ moral, intellectual, physical, and aesthetic faculties.  Additionally, the course aims to improve students’ sports cultural literacy, nurture patriotism and collectivist spirit, and utilize the inspiring stories of sports figures to instill correct values and outlooks on life.
