Human exploration of the plant world has never ceased, and the utilization and protection of plants have promoted the progress of human civilization. Focusing on the issue of "how to cultivate students' deep cognition and application ability of plants in the era of modern agriculture", Plant Growth and Environment takes the process of plant growth and development as the main learning line, highlights the application of professional terms and modern technology, integrates ideological and political elements such as Chinese traditional culture, ecological civilization and the core socialist values, as well as the spirit of labor, craftsmanship and model workers. With the help of various information tools and teaching teams, it forms a "three-classroom collaborative education" teaching practice system: discussion and summary-based first classroom, practical activity-based second classroom, and online extended third classroom, effectively achieving the teaching objectives of cultivating students' ability to deeply understand plants in the era of modern agriculture and lifelong learning habits. It also enables every learner to re-observe and understand the world through plants, and start a new green career journey!
