Management is omnipresent and ever-present. It has a long history and is profound. Management originates from practice and ultimately returns to practice. In the new era, the context of management is becoming increasingly complex, and management methods are constantly evolving. However, no matter how things change, the fundamental principles remain the same. Mastering basic management knowledge is the prerequisite for learning various management methods, the foundation for dealing with various management situations, and also the demand of the times, the need of society, and the pursuit of individuals.

As the cornerstone of the entire management discipline system, the course "Management: The Essential Course for Professional Managers" focuses on basic management theories based on the current management context and follows the basic principle of "bringing management back to common sense." It aims to help learners at all levels master management knowledge, enhance their management capabilities, and effectively apply this knowledge to management practice. It promotes the integration of management knowledge and practice and encourages learners to become practitioners of management ideas. The course is divided into four main parts: basic concepts, classic theories, management functions, and practical applications. The specific content is as follows:

The essence of management begins with the right concepts. Based on the interpretation of management trends and actual management issues, this course helps learners clarify the basic concepts and principles related to management and managers, and deeply understand the essential characteristics and general laws of management.

By comparing and categorizing, we learn from the classics. Based on the organization of management theories, this course helps learners understand the development trajectory of management theories, master the classic management theories with different focuses, and systematically build a theoretical framework for the management discipline.

By categorizing and targeting, we achieve specific goals. Based on the analysis of management responsibilities and functions, this course helps learners understand the basic principles and methods of management functions and efficiently master the corresponding management tools and methods.

By integrating knowledge and action, we apply it to the world. Based on the previously constructed management knowledge system, this course helps learners use management theories and perspectives to analyze and solve actual management problems, improve their comprehensive management capabilities, and cultivate managerial qualities.
