Against the backdrop of global trade digitalization and the deepening of the “Belt and Road” initiative, the field of international settlement is undergoing dual transformations of rule updates and technological innovation. To meet the industry’s demand for versatile talents, this course is designed for vocational college students, adopting a bilingual teaching model (“Chinese + English”), integrating the latest international practices with real business scenarios, and aiming to cultivate applied talents equipped with digital skills and cross‑border risk control capabilities.
The course content follows a “from fundamentals to frontiers” logic, systematically covering modules on settlement instruments, settlement methods, financing practice, and digital technology applications. Special emphasis is placed on frontier topics such as blockchain and digital currency, while compliance management and risk prevention are embedded throughout. By using bilingual case studies, original international rules, and document templates, the course strengthens students’ practical operational skills.
Teaching Methods:
Implementation of “bilingual layered teaching,” progressively enhancing students’ professional English application skills;
Adoption of blended online–offline teaching, integrating micro‑lectures, ICC guidelines, and SWIFT message simulations;
Project‑driven and scenario‑based learning, guiding students to complete full‑process settlement tasks and improve comprehensive vocational competence in simulated environments.
