"Livestock and Poultry Farm Design and Environmental Control" is a core professional course for the animal husbandry and veterinary major in higher vocational education. The main learning contents include: scientifically designing livestock and poultry farms, scientifically designing livestock and poultry house buildings, improving the environment of livestock and poultry houses, rationally selecting facilities and equipment for livestock and poultry farms, and protecting the environment of livestock and poultry farms.
This course is based on basic theories such as animal biochemistry, animal physiology, animal behavior, meteorology, soil science, water hygiene, and building materials science. At the same time, it is closely related to livestock and poultry feeding and management techniques, livestock and poultry disease prevention and control techniques, and livestock and poultry farm operation and management techniques. It is a compulsory course for all technicians engaged in livestock and poultry production.
Whether the design and environmental control of livestock and poultry farms are reasonable is directly related to the health and production performance of livestock and poultry, as well as the production efficiency of livestock and poultry farms. It is of great significance for the sustainable development of livestock and poultry farms, ensuring the quality and safety of livestock products, improving animal welfare, increasing the comprehensive utilization efficiency of resources, and reducing pollution from the breeding industry.
Through the study of this course, students can be placed in actual production scenarios, and learn gradually in a way from the outside to the inside, from the whole to the part. This ensures that after completing this course, students can directly participate in production - post internships and meet the job - ability requirements of enterprises.
