This course is a core basic course for the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology major at Hainan University. It systematically teaches the structure and function of biological macromolecules such as carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, and nucleic acids, and provides a detailed explanation of material metabolism, energy conversion, and metabolic regulation mechanisms. Combining the characteristics of tropical biological resources, it strengthens the integration of theory and experiment, helping students grasp the molecular basis of life activities. This lays a solid foundation in theoretical and experimental skills for subsequent courses such as molecular biology and genetic engineering, supporting learning and research in fields such as biomedicine and molecular breeding.
