Over half of the population is experiencing work related burnout. This statistic should shock you! It doesn't have to be this way. Work can be a source of joy, challenge, and deep fulfillment; it need not be anxiety inducing and stressful. Work can be a place where you learn and contribute in meaningful ways. But that depends on your mental fitness. This course teaches you the psychology of mental fitness and burnout, and gives you dozens of tools to translate the psychology into sustainable habits that keep you mentally sharp, creative, and resourceful. These are the mental tools you need to scale your business while remaining mentally fit and clear. You will learn how to handle and overcome the inevitable stresses and setbacks that come with work, and how to find joy and be a high performer. Mental fitness, like physical fitness, takes discipline and consistency. Your success in work and life depends on it, and it is worth the investment. We'll talk about courage, belief, storytelling, cognitive flexibility, and emotional awareness. We'll talk about how to identify the early warning signs of burnout. And you'll get an Executive Mental Fitness Score Card to assess your own mental fitness. Each lecture has an exercise to help you practice and lock in the learning, and I have included two role plays and several resources to keep your learning alive and exciting. My goal in this course is to give you the tools and motivation to invest in your mental fitness, one day at a time.
