This course brings together automation, advanced scripting, and systematic troubleshooting, the skills that take a Linux administrator from competent to exceptional. Covering expert instruction across shell scripting automation, Python on Linux, configuration management concepts, and Linux system and network troubleshooting, learners develop the skills to manage Linux environments at scale. Learners benefit by understanding how to automate repetitive administration tasks, use Python for system automation alongside Bash, apply configuration management principles, and troubleshoot complex Linux system and network issues using diagnostic tools and methodology. By the end of this course, learners will be able to automate Linux administration workflows and resolve system and network issues systematically across enterprise Linux environments.
-
This course launches the CompTIA Linux+ Specialization by building the foundational Linux knowledge every administrator needs. Covering expert instruction across Linux history, distributions, installation, file system hierarchy, storage management, and system customization, learners develop the core skills to work confidently in any Linux environment. Learners benefit by understanding how Linux is organized, how to navigate the file system hierarchy, manage files and directories, configure storage including partitioning and LVM, and customize the Linux environment for administration tasks. By the end of this course, learners will be able to install and configure a Linux system, manage files and storage, and customize the Linux environment to support system administration workflows.
-
This course builds Linux networking skills and shell mastery alongside core system management capabilities. Covering expert instruction across Linux networking configuration, advanced shell usage, user and group management, process management, and package management, learners develop the practical skills for day-to-day Linux system administration. Learners benefit by understanding how to configure network interfaces, manage routing, troubleshoot connectivity, write and execute shell scripts, manage users and groups with appropriate permissions, control running processes, and install and update software using package managers. By the end of this course, learners will be able to manage a Linux system's networking, users, processes, and software packages in enterprise administration roles.
-
This course covers some of the most important and in-demand skills in modern Linux administration: systemd service management, container technologies, and Linux security hardening. Covering expert instruction across systemd, Docker containers, access controls, file permissions, and Linux security frameworks, learners develop the skills to run secure, containerized Linux environments. Learners benefit by understanding how to manage services and system state with systemd, deploy and manage containers using Docker, implement discretionary and mandatory access controls, configure firewall rules, and apply SELinux or AppArmor policies to restrict system access. By the end of this course, learners will be able to manage Linux services with systemd, deploy containerized applications, and implement comprehensive Linux security controls.
