  • Week 4: Overview of manufacturing processes such as casting, forging, sheet metal, and plastic processing.
  • Week 5: 3D modeling of casting, sheet metal, and plastic components, with emphasis on solid modeling and design intent.
  • Week 6: Design for cost-effective assembly (DFM) and its role in production.
  • Week 7: Product cost sheets, cost accounting, and overhead apportionment.
  • Week 8: Production planning, guidelines, and creating product time plans.
  • Week 9: Real-time projects demonstrating product life cycles, DFMEA, and process documentation.
  • Week 10: Exploration of manufacturing equipment and its application in production processes.
