This Course “Management of Merchandising Function and Apparel Manufacturing (BHC-007)” is centered on merchandising management and apparel manufacturing with the focus on as sourcing and buying of raw material, international trade and finance, apparel merchandising, apparel quality control and apparel costing.
This course also introduces various stages of apparel manufacturing such as fabric selection, pattern making, cutting, sewing, finishing, packing, and quality control. Through theoretical concepts and practical applications, students develop managerial and technical skills required for efficient production management and successful merchandising practices in the apparel sector. This course prepares learners for professional opportunities in garment manufacturing units, export houses, buying agencies, retail organizations, and fashion merchandising industries.
