Syllabus

  • Discuss functional areas in business and explain the structure and inner workings of a business organisation.
  • Explain the different functions of management in an organisation.
  • Demonstrate the concept of contemporary business in a free enterprise system.
  • Describe the economic environment and demonstrate an awareness of the legal, political, socio-cultural and technological environments, which contribute to an impact upon business.
  • Discuss the concept of business organisation as an integrated entity operating within the parameters of the internal and external environments
