Syllabus

ENTREPRENEURIAL KNOWLEDGE - Identify entrepreneurial thinking, approaches and behaviours. Become aware of innovation and start-up processes. Understand how entrepreneurs use these to come up with new ideas and design useful products.
ENTREPRENEURIAL MINDSET - Develop the core sense of being able to perform challenging tasks with a positive mental attitude, employ mental agility and persist in the face of difficulties, negative feedback and other setbacks. Includes: Intrinsic motivation and drive; Initiative and independence; Risk taking and confidence; Ability to learn from failure; Resilience and persistence.
ENTREPRENEURIAL SKILLSET - Build hard and soft skills required in the different phases of a start-up business journey that can be applied to the real world work and life context Includes: Problem solving; Creative and critical thinking; Leadership and teamwork; Planning and processes; Project management, Basic finance and management; Communication and pitching
APPLICATION + EXPERIENCE - Gain hands on experience applying entrepreneurial knowledge, mindset and skills to real-world challenges and simulations to a simulated start-up business project.
DIGITAL COMPETENCY - Build technology literacy and skills by using a range of digital tools, software and apps to complete challenges
