SNMP is a great tool for obtaining statistics about your network such as packet counts, interface status and overall device health. But SNMP falls short if one desires visibility into more granular detail about the type of data flowing through your network. NetFlow was introduced by Cisco to solve that problem. In this course, you’ll learn how NetFlow is able to sort data flowing through an interface into unique flows, obtain statistics about those flows, and export those flows to a NetFlow Collector.
