Part 147 Interim Final Rule Overview/ Implementation Briefing

This course is a briefing on the 14 CFR Part 147 Interim Final Rule including an overview of the rule and an announcement of its implementation. Section 135 of the Aircraft Certification, Safety, and Accountability (ACSA) Act, titled “Promoting Aviation Regulations for Technical Training,” directed the FAA to “issue interim final regulations to establish requirements for issuing [AMTS] certificates and associated ratings and the general operating rules for the holders of those certificates and ratings in accordance with the requirements of [section 135].”
