The ACS is designed to provide clear information about what an applicant must know, consider, and do to qualify for a specific certificate or rating. It provides a framework that integrates and aligns standards, guidance, and testing for airman certification. The purpose of this one hour, twenty minute course is to provide information to applicants, instructors and evaluators such as designated pilot examiners (DPEs) about using the ACS in the teaching, training and testing phases of airman certification.This course content will take approximately 80 minutes to complete. Additional time should be allowed for review and taking the exam to earn your WINGS credit.
