Aircraft maintenance technicians perform work that is often repetitive. Repetition can cause complacency. What are the different types of complacency and how can AMTs work to reduce complacency? Students will review what constitutes complacency. Students will review how complacency can lead to accidents. Students will learn that complacency comes in many forms in the workplace. Students will understand why complacency is one of the Human Factors of the Dirty Dozen and why it is such a silent killer.
