This course provides a practical introduction to the startup journey - from identifying and validating customer problems to achieving product-market fit, attracting customers, raising investment, and navigating an eventual exit.
Learners will explore startup success factors, common entrepreneurship myths, and why startups fail. Through real-world cases and practical frameworks, they will learn to validate opportunities, develop strong value propositions, and use experimentation to reduce uncertainty.
The course also covers startup funding, including how investors evaluate businesses, key funding stages, and metrics such as CAC, LTV, traction, revenue growth, and scalability. Participants will also learn key fundraising concepts, including valuation, dilution, investor rights, and governance.
By the end, learners will understand the startup lifecycle and be better equipped to assess opportunities, validate assumptions, engage customers and investors, and make informed decisions about building and financing a startup.
