This course is designed to equip you with the advanced consulting skills needed to confidently design and implement Salesforce Data Cloud solutions in real-world business environments. You’ll learn how to ingest and model data, create unified customer profiles through identity resolution, build meaningful segments, generate insights, and activate data across Salesforce and external systems. Each module blends practical concepts with consulting-focused thinking to help you communicate value to stakeholders, solve data challenges, and design scalable architectures. Through hands-on labs, guided walkthroughs, and coach dialogues, you’ll develop the ability to translate fragmented data into actionable intelligence that drives personalization, automation, and smarter decision-making. This course is designed for experienced Salesforce professionals, consultants, and solution architects who want to deepen their Data Cloud expertise and confidently lead end-to-end, real-world Data Cloud implementations. Learners should be familiar with basic Salesforce CRM knowledge, familiarity with data concepts, and comfort working with integrations or ETL tools. By the end of this course, you’ll have a strong foundation for Data Cloud projects and be prepared to take on Data Cloud consulting roles with confidence.

Syllabus

  •  Data Cloud Fundamentals and Setup
    • Introduce the core concepts of Salesforce Data Cloud (now often referred to as Data 360) — its purpose, business value, lifecycle, and typical use cases.
  •  Data Ingestion, Modeling & Identity Resolution
    •  Teach learners how to bring data from different sources into Data Cloud (e.g. external systems, file uploads, data streams), model that data appropriately (Data Source Objects, Data Lake Objects, Data Models), and map data to support unified customer profiles.
  •  Segmentation, Insights & Activation — From Data to Business Action
    •  Show how to transform unified customer data into actionable business insights: build segments, configure calculated or streaming insights, query data to validate segments, and maintain segmentation logic.
