e.g. This is primarily aimed at first- and second-year undergraduates interested in engineering or science, along with high school students and professionals with an interest in programming.By the end of this course, learners will be able to gather relevant client information remotely, select appropriate assessment methods, observe movement through video, interpret findings without overclaiming, and turn those findings into a clear hybrid program. They will also be able to choose practical exercises, plan modifications and progression paths, support client follow-through, and establish meaningful review points. Completing the course will help trainers, coaches, movement professionals, and qualified rehabilitation practitioners make more organized and defensible programming decisions when they cannot work with a client in person. Learners will leave with a Remote Assessment and Hybrid Program Blueprint they can adapt to their professional role and client setting. What makes this course distinctive is its assessment-to-programming workflow. It does not treat remote assessment as a collection of disconnected tests or assume that video can confirm everything. Instead, it shows learners how to connect client goals, real-world constraints, careful observation, professional scope, exercise selection, client support, and ongoing review in one usable process.

Syllabus

  • Module 1: Course Orientation and Assessment-to-Programming Foundations
    • This module introduces the course purpose, learning outcomes, intended audience, and professional boundaries before learners begin remote assessment and program design.
  • Module 2: Remote Intake and Assessment Workflows
    • This module teaches learners how to gather useful client information, plan remote assessments, and observe movement safely through virtual tools.
  • Module 3: Hybrid Program Design and Client Adaptation
    • This module teaches learners how to design programs that match client goals, remote constraints, equipment, symptom considerations, and hybrid support needs.
  • Module 4: Course Integration and Final Assessment
    • This module helps learners consolidate remote assessment and program design skills and prepare for the final course assessment.
