    • In this module, you’ll develop a strong foundation in computer networking, preparing you for both the exam and real-world IT environments. You’ll explore essential topics such as ports and protocols, network devices, and small office/home office (SoHo) networks. You’ll also dive into wireless networking protocols, networked hosts—including various server types—network configuration, and TCP/IP, which is fundamental knowledge for any technician. The module wraps up with an overview of network types and networking tools. Since nearly all computers today require networking, and networking makes up about a quarter of the CompTIA A+ content, you can expect plenty of related questions on the exam.
