Syllabus

Introduction to Terraform Journey
- This module introduces the concept of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and its role in modern infrastructure management. It explores traditional challenges and compares different IaC approaches. Learners will gain foundational knowledge of Terraform and its importance in automation.
Installation
- This module guides learners through the process of installing and configuring Terraform on macOS, including setting up the development environment with VS Code. It covers essential tools like Homebrew and extension management, ensuring students can effectively set up their workspace for Terraform development.
Pre-Requisite: AWS IAM & EC2
- This module provides an introduction to key concepts in AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) and EC2, covering user and role management, policy implementation, and practical skills for creating and managing EC2 instances. Learners will gain a foundational understanding of securing and configuring AWS resources effectively.
Basics of Terraform
- This module provides a foundational understanding of Terraform, covering its file structure, provider configuration, authentication methods, resource definitions, and state management. Learners will gain practical skills in implementing and managing infrastructure using Terraform commands and files.
Attributes & Dependency
- This module covers the use of attributes in Terraform, resource dependencies, and how to configure and validate AWS resources. Learners will gain hands-on experience with Terraform commands, security groups, S3 buckets, and multi-provider setups. The focus is on practical implementation and best practices for resource management in cloud environments.
