Syllabus

  • Applying Service-Oriented Architectures with .NET
    • This module explores the principles of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) with a focus on implementing REST and SOAP web services using .NET. Learners will gain hands-on knowledge of building, securing, and managing APIs, as well as integrating them with ASP.NET Core for scalable and maintainable applications.
  • Working with Serverless – Azure Functions

  • Presenting ASP.NET Core

The module also covers design principles and globalization techniques for multilingual support.
  • Implementing Frontend Microservices with ASP.NET Core

It covers techniques for integrating HTML micro-frontends, defining application architecture with Domain-Driven Design, and implementing domain and application layers. Learners will gain practical skills in structuring and developing scalable microservices applications.
  • Client Frameworks: Blazor
    • This module covers the fundamentals of Blazor, including client-side app development, UI components, cross-platform capabilities, and the structure of Blazor applications. Learners will gain an understanding of how to build and manage client frameworks for web and mobile applications using .NET technologies.
  • Kubernetes
    • This module provides an in-depth exploration of Kubernetes concepts, including deploying applications using YAML, managing services, and interacting with clusters via kubectl. Learners will gain hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and learn how to configure and manage containerized applications in a cloud environment.
  • Case Study
    • This module provides an in-depth exploration of software architecture design for a travel agency case study, focusing on .NET Core projects, microservices, DevOps practices, and cloud integration using Azure. Learners will gain hands-on experience with implementing and testing various components of a scalable application.
  • Case study Extension: Developing .NET Microservices for Kubernetes
    • This module teaches learners how to prepare and deploy .NET microservices on Kubernetes, focusing on Docker integration, debugging techniques, and network configuration. It covers practical strategies for managing development environments and ensuring seamless application communication. Learners will gain hands-on knowledge of tools like Bridge to Kubernetes and Minikube.
