You will begin by exploring the origins and evolution of Lean and Six Sigma, understanding how these methodologies merged into a powerful framework for continuous improvement. From there, you will learn the core Lean principles, identify the eight forms of waste, understand variation and defects, and compare Lean, Six Sigma, and Lean Six Sigma approaches. The course also introduces belt levels and team roles, helping you understand how improvement projects are structured. Next, you will be guided through the DMAIC methodology—Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control—the foundation of Six Sigma problem solving. You will also explore beginner-friendly tools including SIPOC diagrams, process maps, Pareto charts, Fishbone diagrams, check sheets, and control charts to support data-driven decision-making and process analysis. This course is designed for students, professionals, team members, managers, and anyone interested in operational excellence or process improvement.
