You’ll start with installing both the Desktop Experience and Server Core versions, followed by essential administration tools like Server Manager, Windows Admin Center, and PowerShell Remoting for remote server management. As you advance, you'll dive into key identity services such as Active Directory, Group Policy, and Certificate Services. You’ll also gain practical experience in deploying network services like DHCP and DNS. By the end of the course, you will be able to manage server environments, deploy and configure services, and troubleshoot issues using Performance Monitor and Event Viewer. Ideal for IT professionals and system administrators, this course requires basic knowledge of networking and IT infrastructure. No prior experience with Windows Server 2019 is required.

Syllabus

Installation and Administration

In this module, we will cover essential administrative tasks in Windows Server 2019, focusing on installation methods and the tools necessary for effective server management. You'll learn how to use both graphical interfaces and command-line tools for setup, configuration, and remote administration.

Identity Services

In this module, we will dive into managing identity services within Windows Server 2019, including setting up Active Directory, implementing Group Policy, and installing Certificate Services. You'll also learn how to troubleshoot and optimize these critical systems.

Network Infrastructure Services

In this module, we will explore the setup and configuration of critical network services like DHCP and DNS. These services are fundamental for maintaining a reliable network infrastructure and ensuring smooth communication between devices.

Storage Management

In this module, we will cover modern storage solutions in Windows Server 2019. You'll learn to set up Storage Spaces and iSCSI to ensure scalability, redundancy, and centralized storage access.
